1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions form an agreement between you and Jay Adams trading as MyBle (“MyBle”, “we”, “us” or “our”) when you create or use a MyBle account. They apply to MyBle.me and the features we make available through it.

By ticking the acceptance box and continuing, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. Our Privacy Notice explains how we use personal information; acknowledging it is not the same as consenting to every use of personal information.

2. Who may use an account

You must be at least 13 years old to create a MyBle account. If you are under 18, the wording on MyBle is intended to be clear enough for you to understand, but we encourage you to involve a parent or guardian if anything is unclear.

You must provide an email address you are entitled to use and must not impersonate another person. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure.

3. What MyBle provides

MyBle provides free access to Scripture, study context, weekly studies, private notes, favourites, praises, personal reading progress and goals, and a faith-focused AI study companion called Ask MyBle. Features may change as the service develops, but we will not remove rights you have under law.

MyBle is a study aid, not a substitute for Scripture itself, a church community, qualified pastoral care or professional medical, legal, financial or emergency advice.

4. Ask MyBle and generated content

Ask MyBle uses artificial intelligence. Its answers may be incomplete, outdated or wrong, even when they sound confident. Check important guidance against Scripture and, where appropriate, speak with your church, a trusted pastor or a suitably qualified professional.

Do not use Ask MyBle for emergencies, safeguarding disclosures or situations where someone may be in immediate danger. In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service or safeguarding professional.

5. Your content and private study library

You keep ownership of the notes, study responses and questions you enter. You give MyBle only the limited permission needed to host, process, transmit, back up and display that content to you, and to operate the features you request. We do not claim ownership of your private study content.

Please do not enter content that is unlawful, abusive, infringes another person’s rights, contains malicious code, or reveals another person’s confidential information without a proper reason and authority.

6. Acceptable use

You must not misuse MyBle, interfere with its security or operation, attempt unauthorised access, scrape or overload the service, reverse engineer protected parts of it, use it to harm another person, or use automated systems in a way that places an unreasonable load on the service.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, MyBle or others, investigate misuse, comply with law, or address a security risk. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact us.

7. MyBle content and third-party services

The MyBle name, design, original study material and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Bible text and third-party material remain subject to their own notices and permissions. You may use MyBle for personal Bible reading and study, but these terms do not transfer ownership of MyBle or third-party content to you.

Sign-in, hosting and AI features depend on trusted service providers. Their services may occasionally be unavailable or may be governed by additional terms when you interact with them directly.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep MyBle available and secure, but we cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free access. We may maintain, update, limit or discontinue features where reasonably necessary. If a material change to these terms affects existing account holders, we will provide reasonable notice and ask for renewed acceptance where appropriate.

9. Responsibility and legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation. Nothing in these terms affects any mandatory rights you have as a consumer.

Because MyBle is provided free of charge, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these terms, or for business losses arising from personal use of the service. You remain responsible for decisions made using study material or AI-generated content.

10. Ending your use

You may stop using MyBle at any time. You may ask us to close your account and delete eligible personal information by following our account deletion instructions. Some limited records may be retained where required by law or reasonably needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, as explained in the Privacy Notice.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law that applies in the part of the United Kingdom where you live. If you live elsewhere, any mandatory protections under your local law continue to apply. Disputes may be brought in the courts that have jurisdiction under applicable consumer law.
